How Big Does L001 Really Grow?

L001 is listed in the "Plecs under 8inches" list in this section of the forum. Gregory must be a giant for his soecies. He's grown quite a bit since I got him almost a year ago and is now at least 12in including tail -a truly magnificent specimen. I love him dearly and would never part with him but need to know how big he's likely to get so I can make plans for a 6ft tsnk or bigger if I really need to (he's currently in a 4ft which is all I have room for). I would not only hsve to save up for this hge tank but clear a room and maybe knock down a wall!

They grow 12" according to planet catfish which is one of the most reliable places so i would go by that they say.

That size is without tail hence the SL after the size and it's also an average size. Adding the tail on a 12 inch fish will make it 3-4 inches larger, ive seen L001 at 18 inches but the potential to get bigger is there given the right environment.

I would cautiously say an average of 15 inches but be prepared for bigger.
