hi,

i've got my fry in a "floaty net cage thing" in the main tank, and they are coming on - even survived my attentions while the main tank cycled.

they are danios (i think) and about 1 cm long - they look pink because of their guts and no pigmentation on the skin yet.

they must be 6 weeks old by now.

You can release them once they are bigger than your biggest fishes mouth lol

Always work on the theory that if something will fit in a fishes mouth, that's where it'll go.

Sorry this is not in answer to your enquiry. i was hoping you might ba able to tell me how long it took from the time you noticed your fish was pregnant to the time she gave birth? I have a pregnant molly and have put her into a floaty net cage thing to. i feel bad putting her in there but l don't know when she will drop her babies.
If you can help in any way that would be great.
