how big are peppered cory's fry?

I have no idea what their exact length are, but I do hear that the parents should be taken out of the tank when the eggs are hatched. Possibly the young are so small that the parents can do them a lot of harm; so be careful!

the eggs are in floating plastic breeding box, they have a leaf and some gravel in there, they should hatch soon as they laid them on sunday night! I hear they take 3 or 4 days so they might hatch 2night or 2moro.
fingers crossed! :)

Hi tuffers :)

I hope they will hatch for you. Cory fry are great fun to raise.

It's important to make sure that the water is circulating around them so that no fungus starts.

Whether or not this batch makes it, you have a good pair who will breed again in the future. Perhaps next time you will have a special tank set up so that you are better prepared to care for the eggs and will have a safe and healthy environment to raise the fry.

Good luck with these, though. :D

P.S. When they hatch, you will want to have some liquid fry food to feed them. They are very tiny and this will get them off to a good start. :flex:

hi, thanks for the help, still no fry yet, and no fungus on the eggs, the light is turned off in my tank so that if any hatch the light is not too intense for them. The water is circulating pretty well.
I wasn't expecting any eggs because I didn't even know that they were male and female!! I just thought one was bigger than the other!!
Next time I will be able to prepare better!!
Hope they hatch tonight!!
