its going to be 42 degrees celicius (107 farenheit i think) tomorrow... what can i do to ensure that my fish get through the day...
I got a 2 footer with 6 panda cories and a betta.... runnning aquaclear 150 and a sponge filter...

Whenever we have a really hot day here(not very often :p ) I take some conditioned water and fill plastic bags, then put tem in the freezer. If the tank temperature gets too high I float these in the tank until the water temperature is at the level I want.

:)

42 degrees?? damn I wish I was there, its only about 9 degrees C here in the UK and im half mile from sea so theres some cold breaze outside I can tell ya!!!!

The wifes gone garden hoping to try and retrieve some of her smalls, or not so smalls lol :*)

Try using a fan to blow across the top of the water of your tank or increase the flow at water level to cool it down abit.

Good luck

Sydney's having some weird weather lately... they broke the record for having the hottest day in october a couple months ago... and if tomorrow goes as forecast, it will be the hottest day in November ever recorded... and summer starts in december for us.. so i guess it wont get any better anytime soon...
