That's the Wavebox. A wavemaker is a device to turn on/off powerheads, or vary their power. The Wavebox actually creates waves through the constant filling and emptying of a chamber.

It should probably be noted that this 450ish litre tank has a wavebox which is rated for tanks up to 1,200 litres, as well as a further 13,500 LPH from powerheads.

Very nice. I see that there seems to be several distinct colour morphs and body shapes of bubble tip anemones. I have two main kinds in my tank and neither have that same tentacle density yours does. I'd like to get myself one of those red ones one day and get rid of most of my corals; to have an anemone dominated tank.

It is one of the nicer ones I have seen. When I first bought it there were almost no bubbles on the tips, but it is gradually increasing in size.

I would ideally like to have another coloured nem, and maybe a frag of this one elsewhere in the tank to add a bit of movement to an SPS dominated tank.

And only 30W of power on average when in operation (60W when operating at full power, but it is off for half the time).
