I've seen where people have horseshoe crabs as part of their cleaning crew, great for the sand and everything. But I thought these crabs got way too big for a normal aquarium...

These crabs start off as small and curois additions to a tank and yes tey do perform a cleanup of the sand but beware! These crabs grow HUGE  And along with that they are immensly detrtuctive too!.. Only people with extremly large tanks with lots of open water/sand areas need apply :*)

I've seen them at Ripley's Aquarium before, and they're probably about 8" across and 14" long with the spiny tail. And... they get bigger than that. WAY too big for most aquariums.

I thought they got waaaaaay too big. Thanks guys. I had found a site that uses them in the sand cleaning crews they sell. I also saw a pic of someones tank in another forum that had a few in there, they weren't big at all yet. :dunno:
