im not sure if this is an invertabrate so mods please move if it is!

Anyway, does anyone know where i can get one and if i can keep them and anything i should know about them?? im really intrested in these guys due to my triop addiction....thanks!

Well hon, I know where you can get one if you come down to Bournemouth! He is a marine fellow though and absolutely huge  Dont know the price or care on him though and think he would be a major step up from cute triops

after some research the females are the size of your hand the males slightly smaller they are not dangerous in any way they eat worms etc

yes i saw a horseshoe crab for £30 which was 24inchs long lol, im yet to find where i can buy one from...:( thanks for the tips though guys, so does anyone have one about the size of your hand lol

You "can" keep them. They're marine and are generally hard to keep fed. IIRC, they're sand sifters and need a large sand bed. They also get quite large.

well, looks like thats out the window :( anyone know of any other critters like them that i can keep that are abit smaller?

if your are into inverts, try dragonfly/damselfly nymphs. go catch them yourself (so they are native) and enjoy! interesting critters they are! could have a cool little native invert community (with snails etc). just try and mimic the habitat you take them from (stagnant/current/coldwater etc).
cheers
