Horse Faced Loach

I don't have pics, but right now I have a 55 gallon planted tank with 4 Otos, 6 silver dollars, a couple trumpet snails lurking around and 1 horse faced loach. I know how to take good care of everything but the loach. Can I get some help on it? Right now it is dug deep into the sand with only it's head pointed out. It is about 3 inches long.

I heard they were loner type loaches. I went downstairs to check on it. It's lurking about eating scraps of food, when i shined the light on it it stopped. I turned away for a few seconds to find him buried back into the sand.

NO, they do have some social life. To much lesser degree than Botia's, but still some.

I can get another loach for company easily...What do I feed it? I got bottom feeder tablets and algae wafers. Does it eat trumpet snails? I kind of need them to sift the sand around for me.

Are you planning on upgrading anytime soon?
And that tank won't be planted long with those dollars
