Hoplo Compatability

Could i get a Hopolo catfish for my community tank?
How big do they get and what do they feed on? Please can someone give me some details?

As a Hoplo catfish owner I would say they keep to themselves like to be in groups grow to 8" less or more depending on the hoplo type and they eat anything they can get their mouths on although frozen food and a good quality pellet or flake is recommended

Hoplos are not a single fish species, they love each others company, so if you dont have room for at least 2 dont get one. You will get more out of the fish with company as will he/she. They will eat meat if its avail, mine love baby fry (when the Kribs get careless) Its like 2 6" hoovers....and the babies are gone!
