hoods

Anyone know of where I can get a hood that is presentable from both sides as I am setting a tank up that is jutting out from a wall? Looked around the net and the pics of most hoods do not give the back detail the hood needs to fit a 36 x 12 tank. Me crosses fingers or it looks like the tools are out and a diy hood on the way...(by about Christmas...next year!)

Wolf, depending on your type of filtration, it will be hard to do even a diy hood. Unless you have a canister filter that you can plumb into the side.

If you're good with wood, or know someone who is, you can build pretty much anything you want to fit your situation.

I am currently building a custom top/hood for my 30" tank. it will house my 24" compact flourescent lamp.
