Hood

i've been rather short sighted!

i have a double starter with clips to attach two more strips to my hood. a DIY hood is out of the option at the moment so do i........

remove the internal starter(that piece clips out) and replace with an over sized piece of plastic? if i do that i can add holes easier without fear of ruining a hoodand be able to get into the tank a bit easier than the little flap at the front.... OR are the spare pieces easy to get hold of?

i'm favouring the piece of plastic/v thick card(reinforced) route myself.

i could even work home made reflectors into there aswell!

I'd go with the thick piece of plastic, with custom-made holes. No expensive hood to ruin, and you can drill exactly where you need to...Home made reflectors work a treat too
