Hong Kong Plecos

They're sub-tropical algae eating river fish, they need a mature specialist river-style tank set up to thrive  .

i've kept one since i've the beginning of my fish keeping days and its still alive now!
they're extremely adaptable fish and, imo, only need a specialist river tank to breed etc.
i bought one because i didnt have a tropical tank so i couldn't get a pleco. i bought one of these and put it in my coldwater tank.
then i bought a bigger tank, made it tropical and put it in there.
since then, i've upgraded several times and it's still alive and happy as anything!
it takes a while for them to settle in but once they have and feel confident enough to search around the tank, they're funny little things.
