I've got it wrong a few times but I'm inclined to say the first photo (fish with darker line down the side) is female. Of the males I've had over the years only very stressed males have shown this darker line while it was quite common in females. The second I'm not sure about.
It is usually said that male gouramis have longer pointier fins than females, but I've found that to be less reliable with honeys. These are a pair I once had. I know they were a male and female as they mated and laid eggs. I could never see any difference in the fins. But I know which was the male as he had a black throat.
