I couldn't tell you the age as I got it from a friend who was dimantling there tank. Yesterday it started sitting around not moving alot, looked dead. I was ready to fish it out when it started swimming again. I did a 25%ish water change. I know it needed it before now but have been very busy with alot of other thing. Today it's looking worse. I've set up another tank just for it, just waiting for it to warm up. I will be placing filter media from my main tank into the filter.

Any ideas why it might be acting this way? It's always been fairly lively, as gourami's go anyway. I checked the stats and they all came back fine, very low nitrates. Will check the levels in main tank again tomorrow, not enough daylight now. I'm hoping to move it later tonight.

It maybe acting like this beacause it's stressed out.

how long have you had it for? (sorry if this has already been mentioned)
it may be just stressed from the move, id leave it in the same tank for about 2 days, if there is no improvement at all, id then move it. moving it again if its stress will only stress it out even more.

if any symptoms of any illness come in the next two days, then move it and treat both tanks. but make sure you find out what your treating them for first.

hope this helped x
