Im making a cave out of styrofoam... and i want to know whats involved in finishing it off. I bought aquarium sealant... but its really think. I am going to cover it in stones and plant bits.

Anyone have any ideas?

maybe you could stick wood or rocks to it and any gaps could be filled with silicone and if you were to scatter some sand on, this would hide the styrofoam. a better way would just to stick the rocks together with the silicone straight away. someone here made a great one not so long ago, i'll try and find it for you.

Thats great. Thanks. I got a lot of ideas from it.

He did it with cement though... im looking to cover it with stones from my tank. is there some kind of spray sealer that i can use?

you could try looking at pond paint. this is designed to seal cement ponds but It may stick to styrofoam.
