Are those Screw In Flourescent Light Bulbs at Home Depot good for a planted 10 gallon? They don't have a reading on the K's (they don't say 6500k or anything) yet they say DayLight. Just wondering if I can pick up two for my LowTech 10 Gallon, as the incandescents I have are really heating up the tank. Are Flourescent Bulbs that say DayLights enough for the plants?

Anyone know if there is a requirement to be labled DayLight Bulbs? Are these screw in bulbs suitable for a 10 gallon planted tank even though they don't display how muck K's they are.

I just googled daylight bulb and it looks like most brands that say daylight also say 6500K or full spectrum so I would think that daylight bulbs would mean in someway full spectrum which has to be better for your plants than an incandescent bulb but maybe not as good as a purpose built 6500K tube though.
