Holy Marbles!!

Man, so there have been all these threads about marbles being able to change color and stuff lately... well I got to experience it myself... my boy Tails decided to change color... and boy does he look even weirder now.

Here he is BEFORE:

As BM would say, "HOLY CRAP. HE'S TOTALLY BLACK!!" and "It looks like he got dipped in black paint!"

I think he looks totally wild/cool now..I like it. Tell him not to change a thing lol .

So cool. YES! marble keep changing one for sure.

One of mine did the same thing. I got him as a beautiful blue/black/white/red marble with a mostly white body. He was fine for a couple months and then started changing colors to almost a total black with just a touch of red on his head.

If he were mine, I'd panic (as I always do) and be convinced he was dying. heh heh
Then I'd come here, post a picture, you'd all laugh at me, and all would be well. lol

He's awesome - I wanna see him in person and tell him that he's cool.

bettamomma i tell you thats normal to think your fish is dying. reminds me of my first fish Zack the one week wonder he was a marble he was purple when i got him and then his face got white and thats why i thought he died from.that happened to me for the first 2 years i kept bettas. now i only own light colored fish LOL...irony=good

How long did you have him before he changed? Maybe he had "paled out" due to stress. Then, now that he is comfortable, he got his color back.

That's what happens a lot with females. It's more rare with males, but I would say it is probably possible.

If you have had him for a long time...then I don't know and I'll just shut up.
