Holy Cow! (Mollies)

I just got a male molly (I can't quite tell what type he is... but he's very long, not a swordtail) today, very pretty, a beautiful gold/white one. Now, I also have a female, black molly. I call her a potbelly, but I think the term people around here use is 'balloon.'

Well, an hour after I'd introduced the male, they'd had a little fling! The male was chasing the female all over the place and doing 'stuff,' and I didn't really get what was going on, but after reading this forums... Well, it seems I'm going to have some friends. This poor guy must have been desperate, after having lived his whole life with other guys!

So, does anyone have information on breeding? And I mean the very basics, I've never bred fish before. I have a 10 gal tank, plenty of foliage, 20 gal filter, a good aerator, and the temperature is just fine. All lchemical evels are a-ok (coppersafe, you are my God!). Should I move the males? What about my tetras? How can I tell when she's about to give birth, and what can I do to help them be healthier? Any information would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!

I have a male Silver Molly, he mates with a female about 30 seconds of being introduce into the tank. Witch is great for me, cos they are Breeding stock.

I think mollies have a gestation period of 28 days, I'd say if ya want to keep the fry, get another small tank to raise them. But it all can end up very time comsumong and exspence, (well it is in this house). Also unless ya wanna have 1000 tanks, then you need to make shore somewhere will take the fry.

As already said if ya need help post away, silly quetions always welcome.
