hello and happy holidays!
in about 2 weeks im leaving my house for 3 weeks. totally alone.
so I was wondering, how to mantain my aquarium? I guessed jut to
ask a friend whos staying, but maybe thats no a good idea, IDK?
I dont believe in the vacation tablets or tetra easybalance.
so please, what would you do, or what are you going to do?

If you have a friend staying perhaps you could ask him to feed the fish.
Twice a week should be ok. Measure out exactly how much is required and clearly label the containers.

I would suggest 3 times a week though if they're small community fish and you're gone for 3 weeks.

Also make sure you do a massive gravel vac and water change a few days before you go so that the nitrates are as low as possible. And also make sure you clean the filter the week before so it's nice and gunk free, don't want it clogging while you're away.
Make sure you don't do the massive water change the day before you go, or clean the filter the day before... you don't want to risk something going wrong (however unlikely) the day before you go away.
