Thinking ahead to Xmas - lovely (for me - not so sure about my wee pals tho!! )

I'm going away for 2 days at Xmas, but need to come home, as I go on call for work at 9 the next morning Because my tank is currently overstocked ( until my bigger tank comes), I am doing a water change every day, which is definitely needed.

I have bought a 5 gall tank, to get a betta, but thought I could set it up in the meantime, to take the load off my stocked tank. That way my fishes will not be in such a vulnerable position if I'm away and can't do the daily water change. I'll leave them there until the big tank is ready anyway ( my betta can wait for now)

Any other advice on how to take care of them when I'm away would be greatly appreciated

Just do a large water change the day before and don't feed them.

thanks - that was what I was thinking myself. Must be learning at least something!
