I've just booked a holiday to go and visit family (really I just miss Ice Cream Mochi!) for two weeks but am worrying about what to do with my Dwarf Puffers.

Most of my family lives up north or abroad and I've only just moved to Bristol so I don't really have anyone I could ask to feed the Puffs as their so fussy and it takes an age to get them to eat, plus live food is much more tricky than chucking some pellets and flakes into the other tanks.

If I started another couple of snail colonies and provided serious amounts of food to get them to reproduce fast would I just be able to dump a load in the tank with my Puffs? I'm worried about them just killing all the snails in the first day then leaving them to rot for 2 weeks causing a giant ammonia spike, same with live food.

It's a 28 litre tank with two Dwarf Puffers, heavily planted.

Any other ideas or if anyone has any experience at this it's much appreciated.
