Holes on my Betta's Tail

why is my betta have holes on his tail?

i attached a picture, hope that helps.

water parameter:
amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 25
ph 6.8

he share his tank with 6 cory panda
he's in a 17 gal tank
he'll be a year old this July
he's acting normally, swimming normally, eating normally.

if anyone can help me I'd really appreciate that

i have some stone in there but no woods.

i’ll remove the stones. Other than than i only have anubias and vallisneria.

i’ll change 50% of the water daily until he’s better.

I had that, but I did have some wood that was quite sharp. I removed the wood very promptly and kept the water extra clean and was amazed at how quickly they repaired.
