4 neons 4 glo-lights 3 ghost shrimp in a 5g?

i wasnt 2 sure but someone suggested it to me.. what would be a better set up? if that wouldnt work out.

Hmm, 5g is pretty small for schooling fish. Might be okay for a few guppies or maybe a betta and some small corys.

I would say a betta or a dwarf guorami with 3 pygmy cories. Thats about all though.

Stick them in a 10g and you should be ok I think.
