Hitchhiker Snail

hey y'all! today i saw something i've never seen my snail do... it released white cloudy stuff from it's shell into the water. it's one of those hitchhiker snails so i can't really name this snail but all i know is that the shell looks more like the top half of a clam shell.

now..i'm assuming it's releasing its "reproductive juices" in my tank but i just want to be sure it's not shooting poison or some wierd crap.

anyways, do you have a pic of the little one, or a google image (dunno if you could find it under clam shell snail?)

If it is a stomatella, mine climb to the top of rocks and shoot swimmers into the water all the time. Now i have lots of mini stomies.

i googled stomella and i found a picture that looked exactly like what i have. not sure if it is a stomella though because i was just sifting through the image gallery.

ps they do look like slugs - but as long as they are the boring coloured ones then they are a good part of your cuc
