it is about 3/4 "

it doesnt seem to look like aptasia, but if it seems like an anemone, and acts like one, then odds r its some sort of aptasia. id remove it if i were u, dont wanna take any chances. but see what others say, i could be wrong. good luck :good:

doesnt look like aptasia at all, and apparently it cant be bad or red flags would have been coming up from everywhere.

It looks like the mouth of a sea apple, sea slug, or other filter feeding invertebrate.

see told ya dont listen to me, lol. now that u say that i kinda see how it could be sea apple or cucumber, hmm

Agreed... some form of filter feeder. If its actively placing each tenticle in its mouth then it ats very much like a sea apple as has been mentioned. Not sure what it is though and i would recomendkeeping an eye on it. Not because i think its dangerous however but more because that being a filter feeder means it might not have enough food and will die and if this happens it might nuke the tank.
Looks great though! lets hope it can find enough food.

Uh...looks like a gree corallimorph to me? Those guys come in lots of colors...and they do act pretty much like nems. They like to stick themselves into rock revices and have just their tops out like that.

My only SW aquarium experience is having an anemone a few days before releasing it back where it came from. That thing looks like an anemone. Check your lighting, and check to see if it budded. Perhaps it is harmless. Check for any missing animals.
