Can anyone tell me what these are?

Found them in a piece of live rock. They're about 2cm X 1cm and move in the water current, look a bit like egg cases to me.

Not much to go on, a collection of blurred white blobs
You are probably right that they are egg cases but since many egg layers produce eggs that are designed to blend in with their surroundings to avoid being eaten there is probably hundreds that all look similar to these.
If you're worried then remove them, if not, sit back and watch.

More curious than anything, they've been moved to the sump so I'll see what happens.
