Hints For Removing End Caps From A Juwel Monolux 60 Lighting Hood

Hi

I was just wondering if anyone had any hints to help us remove our end caps on a Juwel monolux 60 lighting hood, we have had the hood for a year so our light tube needs replacing but the caps are screwed on so tightly we can not get them off. Any help would be appreciated

try a bag of frozen peas on the end allow 5-10 mins and then try unscrewing it
