Hilstreamloach dead - High N03

My Hillstream Louch died. I don't know what it could be. I bought him almost 2,5 months ago. He didn't looked funny or weak.

The other problem, my NO3 level stay at 10 - 20. What can I do to over come this problem? I change every second week 25% and the week in-between 12%. Total to 37% every 2weeks.

Ur no3 level seems fine to me

What's ur temperature like in the tank? Hillstream loach likes cooler temperature than most of the tropical tanks, like 24C (75F), with strong water current n saturation oxygen level. So perhaps it's something to do with this?

My temperature are at 25degrees Celsius and rather good current. I don't think this is the cause of death, cause my other Hillstream are still alive and looking good. I really don't know, do fish occasionally die for no reason?
