hiking in a natural trail

Today I explored a natural trial near my hometown.

The trail:

There are too many mountain streams in that area....

Pitcher plant:

A swimming pool...the water is from the mountain stream:

Found blue colored fins wild betta....damn I forgot to bring my net...so don't know what is that species.I'll go back to catch it ...maybe tomorrow!Maybe its Betta taeniata!

Caught a juvenile using plastic bag...but still can not identify:

Found a juvenile of Rasbora kalochroma:

I would seriously love going on a nature trail like that!
Right right now ours are all covered in snow and ice
Can't even go running on the sidewalks they are so badly kept!

Thanks guys! My hometown is Kuching...just like my name in this forum. Kuching is the largest city in Borneo...but I think compared to New York,its just a small town.

Anyway I went back to catch that wild betta....I thought its a new species but i found out its the common one called Betta ibanorum.This 1 no commercial value so u don't expect to find this fish in aquarium trade.
