Seems not many places are selling the betta food, but i managed to track two outlets and placed an order plus some food for tropicals. Got a phone call this morning saying that he cant get hikari food until september if at all as the EU arent happy with the ingredients listed. Had to get similar products but from a different manufacturer. Anyone else having problems in the UK getting Hikari betta bio-gold?

I've had to get Tetra Betta food. The fish quite like it actually but I wasn't impressed when I couldn't get the hikari!

I've never actually even seen it in my lfs so just feed the "Tetra Betta"

I am using Tetra Betta food which is a flake but they seem to like it.

why not get someone to mail you some from where they are if they are able to get it?

yea ive never seen it for sale here either but have seen the goldfish one as it comes in the BiOrb kits

my little man seams happy enough with flakes anway

Its just that my bettas liked the hikari and i thought they were better than normal flaked food. Getting the tetra food instead so its better than nothing, i just wanted something specially made for bettas. As for asking people to look for me, i would have done if i couldnt get an alternative.

I've never fed Hikari, or any pellets. I just feed normal flake. I had the tetra betta before bt TBH its just slightly smaller flakes with a few bits of dried shrimp in, nothing special. They're on Tetra Variety now, they seem to prefer the red flakes though

BL = Forget Hikari betta Food.

Hikari's Cichlid Food is the Only Thing I use for all My Bettas, Its All I ever Used.
I started with Hikari Happy Chappy Micro Ryunkin Goldfish Food.
But Hikari Cichlid Staple has never been Turned down by an Betta Male or Female.
Its in the Green Packet with an Oscar on it.

Wow, sorry to see that problem with the Hikari. In this town I've NEVER been able to get the Hikari brand, neither Walmart or the pet store carry it. DANG.

I was going to try cochlid pellets, but JBL has a new thingy out with pellet in and you click the lid and it dispenses enough for 5 fish. Which is good for the danios, and the bettas (divide it into 4)

Poor people! I'm in the US, and every store has it. My bettas seem to lvoe the Betta Biogold, and the Hikari frozen foods.
