High Nitrites!

i am slowly setting up my 4ft tank into a marine tank,water has been circulating for a while and i bought some cured live rock last week and my nitrites are through the roof ph is slightly low but the ammonia and nitrates are good..... how can i lower nitrites??

Hi, Your tank is still in a cycle, leave it for another 2 or 3 days then test the nitrates again then you will see that you have high nitrates and that ur nitrites have lowered, as soon as your nitrate is lower as 10 you can start adding a CUC and do your first water change
