Hiding Pygmys?

Hi so
I have got 5 pygmys ( I know numbers need be higher waiting to be paid) but they never seem to be together at least one won't be there and they don't come out much and was woundeding is it likely because of the low numbers??
The tank is planted well there not loads so you can't see but I'll get a pic for u Tomoz

Mine express similar behaviour, not sure how normal this is. I have seen them come out more when its darker though, perhaps its just that? Upping the numbers might help.

I have got six and they love hiding in the plants. I rarely see more than 3 and have never seen all 6 since I bought them

hmm, mine are quite the opposite, i only have six and they can always be seen in the front of the tank

I have 15 pygmies, i do see them shoaling with the harlequins every so often,only time i really see them is at feeding time

So having longer numbers dont necessarily mean you'll see more of them...

These are small and timid fish. If you wanted a more active and assertive fish, you made a poor choice. You might have been better off with the full sized corys.

Hi ich nah I wasn't looking for a more assertive fish I was just asking if it was normal
