Hi! I decided to finally introduce myself since I joined the forum a while back. I have kept fish on and off since I was a teenager, but never took it any further than to get the fish, feed them, look at them and then tear down the tank when they died. I was always told to do water changes, but never did.
Now, at 42 years old, I have decided to take it seriously and I do almost weekly water changes and gravel vacs, research a fish before I get it, check my water parameters(I've never owned a test kit before) and do my best to give them a good quality of life.
I want to say thank you to all who post on TFF- I read this forum daily and it has provided a heck of a lot of information and fueled my desire to do this the right way. You may not see me post much since I'm not much of a talker, buy I am an avid reader and always wanting to learn more. So, hello and thank you.
