Hi all! I'm pretty new here and a fairly new aquarium keeper (just over a year now) I have 4 tanks set up in my house along with many other pets! In my largest tank I have a group of 3 platys among other fish, My platys are a sunburst male a sunburst female and a glden female who is younger than the other two, She seems to be left out of their little group, should I add a golden male for her or will she be more accepted by my other platys as she gets older? I feel really bad for her swimming all alone.... How many is a good number in a community tank? I have no problem moving fish around or setting up a new tank so I can make everyone happy! Any suggetions? I also only have one pleco in the tank do you think he needs a friend or are they more solitary? My favorite fish are def. my angels I have six! Two are a tank on their own because they just started breeding I haven't had any fry hatch yet because in the community tank the eggs were all eaten :-( But I can't wait!

:hi: to TFF brandonsmommy!

Plecos are usually fine on their own, they aren't too social. The younger platy will most likely be accepted as she matures, if you added another male he might harass her. It's better to have a few more females than males with livebearing fish. :)
