Hi, I am new to this forum. I enjoy fish-keeping and look forward to learning more. I have 14 mollies, 2 platies, six guppies and a large brig snail. Things are going well now but have not always done so.

Hi Morgan, it sounds like you enjoy keeping livebearers. I am sure with that many livebearers in one tank that you have quite a bit of activity.

I do like livebearers. I know they are not that interesting to some fishkeepers so it is nice on this forum to have a section for people who do like them.

I started of with two female dalmation/marbled. One was dark and one was silver. One or both were already pregnant when I bought them. I did not know. The two original mollies have since died. I have rehomed nine fry to a pet shop and I have kept fourteen. One large black male has a very large dorsal fin, almost like a sailfin mollie. three of the darker silver ones have lyre tails. I don't know if they are a sailfin and lyretails. But they are very nice anyway !

I have to sort of dalmation mollies the girl is more Dalmation than the boy as he has orange on him as well as greenish speckles, i also have two orange swordtails.

my dalmation molly had 45 fry the other day and i have put them in a seperate tank to grow up, if they all survive i will have to sell some!! But i cant wait to see what colours they turn out to be!!
