The second is find out how hard your water is - that's GH. I don't know if this information is available from your water provider; if it isn't you can buy GH testers. This is important to know as we should aim to keep fish which originate in water with similar GH to our tap water.

Thank you, I really like Angelfish so I would probably start off with 4 of them and add some rainbow cichlids,possibly a blue acara and corydoras for the bottom. At the moment I,m still at the stage of cycling the tank.
