:) Hi All,
My husband and I have been into tropical fish for about 18 years. But we were wanting to find out more about the Rams. I put a search into Google and came up with this forum. As of now we have about 80 tanks set up. We have been breeding Angels, Discus, Guppies now. But we have also kept and bred in the past, Oscars, Cory cats, Mollies, Swordtails, Platies. And I am working on getting a pair of Green Severums. Is there any one here that could give us any info on raising and breeding Rams? Look forword to reading some good posts here in the future.

TIA.... Tom & Linda :)

First let me say welcome to the site. :)

What rams are you thinking of getting?

The only one I know about, and that's relatively little as I don't know rams very well, are the Blues. (Sorry, can't remember the scientific name. It was many moons ago I had them)

For breeding, they like low 80's and acidic water. pH 5-6. Considering this is the limit of life for beneficial bacteria I got a little scared and gave up on rams so that's about all I really know.
