Hi, im a newbie and starting to stock my tank (its fully cycled) Ive added 11 tetras and lurve the albino BNs my lfs has in stock. Ive got a 190l juwel trigon corner tank and will hopefully be getting around 25 tetras altogether with 3 gouramis and ive been advised 3 BNs would be alright? I just want to confirm with the experts that theyl be ok!!

I have a smooth, fine grade gravel substrate with rocks and plants being added soon (which are best for BNs?)temp is around 25-26 and pH is around 8.

Hope i havent completely confused everyone!

Hi there

I have 2 females and 1 male BN. I also have 3 caves which they love. However, there favourite 'cave' is my empty CO[sup]2[/sup] diffuser. I had run out and it was empty and they've started breeding. Now have a couple of babies that are about an inch long.

Love the tank - substrate looks great

Is it possible to sex BN's at junvenile stage? I've never been able to tell till they to around 2.5 inch. I would be well chuffed if I could go down to my LFS & select the sex of the BN's they have in. :hyper:
At the moment I have to take pot luck what I get when buying juveniles.
