Hey..Need info about Lionfish.

Basically i want to start a new setup.

I really plan on getting a lionfish and want to know if there are any good UK websites where you can buy them from and other rare topical fish.
Also, how much would a Lionfish cost do you think. In America they are like $30 which i thought was really cheap...but probably different in the UK.

What websites do you guys recommend.

Also can Lionfish live in peace with clownfish.

for a lion fish, you would need a tank of at least 4x2x2 for a single volitans but 6x2x2 would be better longterm. for a fuzzy dwarf, you will only need a 36x15x18. either way you will need efficient filtration and good skimming. Both species can be bought in the UK for around £20-25 @ 2" long. a pair or percs would be ok with the dwarf but most would be eaten by the volitans. I wouldn't try and keep jellys in captivity. I'v come across upside down jellys a couple of times and the novelty wares off quick and they just end up geting stuck.

Yeah..jellies i wont bother...just saw a video ages ago of some blue room with moon jellies in..looked quite cool and relaxing.

Anyway..do you know of any UK websites you can buy Lions from.

I know tri mar ship fish all over the UK.

where are you? I know or a lot of shops thast sell lionfish. The shop i work for sell them but we can't ship them - collection only.
