Hey Martha Fahaka,

Today we went shopping at our LFS....
For the first time ever, we saw some Fahakas for sale.. only eleven quid each.

We bought the fattest and brought her home.

Her name is Martha Fahaka.

She is just under three inches long and has not yet developed her bad attitude towards tankmates ( she was in with five siblings at the LFS) so she's in with our Dragons and our Brown untill payday, when she gets a tank all of her own.

Thankfully, our guppies have just spawned again, so there's plenty of food around, I understand that fahakas have a HUGE appetite!

Hey Sir Minion,
Would you believe that the 2 Gars we got we named Martha and Donnie?!!! Anyway, i am so pleased to hear you got a Fahaka. Gomez is such a character, he sulks if i don`t give him the right food ( namely whelk, prawn or mussel) which are his favourites. Before long i think Martha will start to show her mean side although, they are so friendly towards their owners. Gomez swims manically up and down the tank in a morning, making ripples in the water as soon as he sees me! What sort of tank are you getting for her? Gomez loves plants, although he wrecks them after a while!!, still nice for him to have them though.
Sand is best for them as younger ones like to bury themselves, you probably know this anyway with keeping puffers.
You are now an official member of the Fahaka owners club, happy times ahead!
