hey guys my new tank will be 20 gallon heavily planted and will have a stocking of 10 neon tetra 6 hatchetfish 3 julli corydoras 3 sterbais corydoras 2 bolivian rams and a few cleaner snails would it be worth kicking the rams getting 1 more of each corydoras and say 4 amano shrimp (btw cant just get 8 corydoras as they are being moved up from a 15 srry was a impulse buy)

I don't believe those hatchets are suitable for a twenty gallon. I was under the impression that they need larger tanks. I would definitely get the extra corydoras. I also wouldn't put two rams in the tank anyway as that's too much competition at the bottom for it all to go well.

hatchets are suitable they are basically top feeding tetra which actually turn out smaller than most tetra and granted are slightly more active but not signififcantly

Hmm. Interesting. Just did a little bit of checking and it seems you are correct. Good to know they don't need the larger tanks. :)
