Hey im still workin on my tank but i should have it up soon b4 i get my bettas, i was thinkin of getting this guy here. i think hes awsome. hes pretty plain, not much color but ill find sum beutiful females to breed him with one day ( once i have the time to take sumthing like that on ) What do u guys think? the seller says hes 4 months old but i think he looks a bit older

if i'm not mistaken, that is a gorgeous black betta, but i asusme it'll cost you an arm and a leg

they are rare becuase black females are 99% of hte time infertile, which is why you usually see steel or red or something else with teh black, they usually cross a black betta with a steel blue female.

anyways, he's gorgeous where r u gonna get him? aquaibd?

Go for it, no questions.. A black betta is really hard to find, and black female bettas are nearly ever fertile, hense why most black bettas have some steel in them or a lighter color.. I really think he is a nice find.

ya i won the bid, it was ans awsome deal, 10 for the fish plus 6 for the shipping. im not getting a black female thogh, i think wen i deside to breed him ill croos him with a female that has a lil more color. there were a couple steels on there but i like this one best, yes i got it on aquabid. but i got it from indoneisia so im not sure how to put the adress on an envolope considering the adress i got was in anothe language, do i just put it on like that?

yea puffer that was one of my other choices i was lookin at. the breeder im getting this one from also has his female egualivalent, ill post a link for yaz .... ok nvm i couldn't find it

i think it's becuase the genet hat creats the black coloring in female also makes them infertile.
