Hey guys, i have had my 5 gallon tank for over a year and a half, and i only have a red finned albino shark in there. I put a platty in there a month after i first had it but eventually the shark attacked it. I think its becuae the platty would eat all the food before it would fall to the shark.. I want more fish but im worried the red finned albino might kill the others. DO you have any idea he all red finned albinos are agressive like this, and what i should do to maybe introduce newer fish into my aquarium. He is about 6inches long i would say.

Also , how many fish can i put in my aquirum.

Also, my shakrnever used ot swim alot but i just bought and put in this bubbling wand and it seems that he is more happier and is swimming, this could just be temproary but is it possible that these bubbles are making him happier.

Also, my lighting seems to heat up my little tank pretty fast, are there better lighting thanks..

IF my questions dont make sence please let me know. Thanks for all the help.

Well, the general rule of thumb with stocking aquariums is one inch of fish per gallon of water. (ie, an inch long fish needs a gallon of water, a two inch fish needs two gallons, and so on) So I'd say he's probably a little too big for your tank already.

Probably making him happier, putting a little air in there--helps get the water moving around and makes it easier for oxygen to get in.

I'm not sure about the lighting.
