He's Dissapered :(

My new goby that I bought yesterday has vanished I can't see him any where there is a small hole in the sand under the rock could he have built himself a cave and is just hiding out in there I really hope so as he is so nice

Gobies do that mate, he will be in there sonewhere

A bristle won't take a fish unless itt dying, your goby Is fine

Good I was starting to worry as I was looking around the tank and didn't see the cave until about 5 minutes of looking

I havent seen my goby in about 3 weeks (along with pistol shrimp). I have made the assumption they have passed but have a slight hope they will pop out. As above gobies can hide for a while. What type of Goby is it?

Im pretty sure that he's made himself a little cave as the opening has opened up a bit more and it looks like sand has been thrown out around the back

Nothing to do with the goby but just saw a piece of a bristle worm floating around

My goby hid for about a week when I first got him, he's out all the time now though

Thanks for the comments at least they are common to hide alot.

When I get a pistol shrimp he will have no work to do know the gobies done it all

Look who just popped his head out of a hole not the burrow in the sand you cant see him very well in the pic as im special when it comes to photography.

And my paint skills are lacking slightly when I tried to resize it
