There's also an orange/black version of electric blues that I've seen. Basiocally the same shape & everything, just orange where the blue would be. The halloween hermits I've seen sold have different patterns. I wish I could remember the name of that orange version of the other one...

Initially Halloween Hermit was the first thing that came to mind, but I think they are more orange and brown striped legs, as opposed to black and orange.

Just saw this and think it might be the species you saw shibby?? Its "Calcinus elegans" which the orange variety is only found around Hawaii. They are the orange version of the electric blue legs Donya mentioned.

i think its the halloween one though its banding is all together, i could try and get a picture if my slr wasnt undergoing works at pentax!! its disapeered n hide now in the tank ... im still positive the puffer wont touch a fly though hope im right

Further down the page on the link I provided is a picture of a halloween hermit. Does it look like that? Its "Trizopagurus strigatus".
