hermit crabs

ok, so i was thinkin of bringing home some SW hermit crabs but im not sure how to take care of them exactly... like what they eat, if they need some land, how do i clean their tanks lol i used to have regular hermits but these i take it r different

They do not need land. What type of tank do you have? They need a salt water setup and good quality water.
SG needs to be between 1.021 and 1.030 basically. ph around 8.2
They feed on any small bits and peices that the fish leave behind. What type of filtration will you be using? Live rock is probably the best of all.

i dont know yet lol im still contemplating on wether or not to get them, cuz i favor fish and shrimp more lol

do some good research before you act on getting thing before hand .

Hermits dont need any land hehe

i have decided against it, too much work for me and i think they would be much more happier in the ocean lol
