Well im going marine from tropical ASAP using my juwel rekord 800 approx 110L ive bought my 1st bit off equipment today just to prove to myself im gonna do it TMC v2 nano skimmer and that's it lol well here's my plan

Lighting:
I really want corals so ive ordered Arcadia luminaire 800mm 4x24watt T5s do i actually need specific marine bulbs ?

So thats the lighting

Filtration:
20kg live rock Hydor Koralia 2 - 2300l/hr
TMC nano skimmer
I wanna keep my juwel internal and full it with Rowaphos and abit of filter floss 400l/hr ( do you think this is a good idea ? )

Total of 2700l/hr i would say i will get approx 27x turnover is this ok

I will also be buying my other bits and bobs test kits sand ect

Anybody got any suggestions they could give my stocking ideas so far is just a cuc and 2 clowns at the min i will be thinking about corals later on when the project gets into actions maybe a couple of week or so once i move to newcastle

Lighting - if you don't want a tank full of nuisance algae and want healthy corals, yes you need marine tubes. Mix white and actinic for best results

Filtration - Rowaphos is never a bad idea Just keep it cleaned up bi-weekly. Flow rate seems fine.

When are you moving? If it's going to be within a month, I'd say don't add fish till you move. You can get live rock if you like, but hold off on the fish. If it's over a month, then you can go ahead and add the fish.

I used to mad on GS its stayed like this for ages dont bother with it anymore just play cod all the time sorry for being of topic lol
