i've been messing around with the DIY CO2 setups...
after using the 2L bottle setup which has become the norm i tried something different...

This one doesn't need a drill or any tools exept maybe scissors to cut the hose..

Things needed:
64 Oz. Ketchup bottle (Heinz)
BIC pen
Air Hose
Silicone (optional)

A 64Oz. Heinz Ketchup Bottle!!!!
all you do is take a cheap 15 cent "BIC" pen or a hotel pen that we all have flooding our pen holders and take the tip off (the part that supports the ink)
usually black or blue plastic.... and in some the rollerball part and the ink tube has to be taken out....

after taking out the plastic piece jam it into the squirter hole of the ketchup bottle i was amazed... perfect fit!!!! no leaks!!! if you're uncertain you can silicone.. then attatch some air hose again somehow... perfect fit!!! (prefably one designed for CO2 or use silicone) since i think regular ones leach co2 about 25% where silicone hose is about 5% then take the hose and stick it in the venturi of a powerhead... or to the reactor... or canister intake....

you can use your own formula or....
mix in 1.5 cups of sugar
1/4 tsp yeast
then fill with warm water and SHAKE
should last about 4-5 weeks
Sorry, my friend has my camera i'll post pics later

Nice idea-ive just looked at my ketchup bottle and the hole looks exactly right for some co2 tubing-no drilling needed. easier diy co2!
