Before you ask, Yes, I was a big Star Trek fan in my younger years. But, No, that isn't where the name came from, at least not totally.
I watched French Kiss this afternoon and later while I was trying to think of a name for this guy the name Luc popped up. But it seemed incomplete, so I added the Jean to class it up a bit. So, he is named after a french thief and a starship captain both.

The camera flash brings out the green. He is more bluish in person.

His tail is not damaged. He has a pale place at the very edge in the middle. He carries butterfly pattern in his genes, which is what I eventually intend to breed him for.

Don't you love going through recently taken photos and seeing one that makes you say "Oh Yeah, there is my new avatar, Baby!" Yeah, me too.

He is a turquoise delta tail. He carries (genetically) melano, butterfly, doubletail, and comes from halfmoon stock. He came with two females from the same spawn. I also bought another trio with the same description from the same breeder, so I suspect I have 6 siblings.

I am planning to breed for butterfly pattern, larger tails (of course) and maybe melano, since it is there.
