Henry Doorly Zoo, Omaha Nebraska

As a surprise, for my birthday, I got to go to Omaha, NE last weekend. One of our stops was the Henry Doorly Zoo which is huge, we didn't even make it through the entire zoo but I still managed to take entirely too many pictures.

I'll start here with peacocks, they were free roaming, and as such, spent much of their time in the food court area.

Next are the butterflies, they have a cool free flying butterfly house, however, the day we went it was pretty crowded and we were a bit rushed through, so unfortunately only a few pics came out.

We have a small little rainforest at my local zoo, but that one just blew it away. It's huge, I think there are two or three levels.

It was an amazing day (even if we didn't get through a third of the zoo), in fact it was an amazing weekend.
